The development of a CI/CD pipeline often involves cobbling together a number of different tools and technologies. The software development and delivery pipeline from beginning to end is a vast space and one of the benefits of open source technologies is the variety of tools to choose from, each born from a need expressed by the community, and each with their own strengths and capabilities. Although excellent tools have been developed by the community and adopted at large by various organizations, connecting these tools together in a robust and reliable way is a challenge.
